Currently Offering Holistic Therapeutic Services in a Non-Residential Setting

Last year, the U.S. Surgeon General issued a rare public health advisory calling on the nation to respond to the growing mental health crisis among our young people. Self-harm and suicide attempts are on the rise in New York State, where an alarming number of young girls end up in hospital emergency rooms for suicide ideation or attempts. However, hospitals are set up to triage, stabilize, and discharge their adolescent patients into an environment with limited mental health services where parents struggle to access follow-up treatment for their children.

For Hospitals

Hospitals need to be able to discharge their adolescent patients in crisis to the next appropriate level of mental health care. Their social and community health workers do their very best to find available mental health services and programs. However, the growing gap between need and availability has made adolescents fall through the cracks. EverGreen Meadow Services’ clinical team helps bridge the gap from discharge to ongoing therapeutic support.
