Heartbreaking

Today, my heart belongs to every young girl who has felt persistently sad and contemplated suicide.   

Yesterday, the Centers for Disease Control released new data that revealed that one in three girls seriously considered suicide in 2021. That’s nearly double the rate of boys and a 60% increase from a decade ago. Trauma and sexual violence are significant contributing factors.

Heartbreaking.
